Logo Use Policy

EASA restricts the use of its logo as stated in the following policy:

The Association’s logo is a trademark and the property of EASA. However, EASA grants a license to use the EASA logo to its members in good standing, as well as its chapters, providing they clearly identify themselves as a chapter of EASA. Only Active, Associate and Allied members who have maintained their paid membership in the Association can use the EASA logo. (Associate members must use the logo developed for them which indicates they are an Associate member.) Members and chapters are not authorized to use any other logo or trademark that is the property of EASA.

Members in good standing or chapters are authorized to use the EASA logo for the purpose of identifying their membership in or affiliation with EASA. The EASA logo may not be used in any manner to imply that a member or chapter is in any way an agent of EASA or that EASA in any way warrants, approves, or endorses any product or service provided by the member or chapter.

The EASA logo can be used on member or chapter business cards, letterhead, and promotional materials. Any other use of the EASA logo not specifically enumerated must be approved by EASA.

The right to use the EASA logo shall terminate and be revoked upon the member’s failure to remain in good standing, upon revocation of a chapter charter, or in the event of misuse by a member or chapter as determined by EASA. Upon such termination and/or revocation, the member or chapter will eliminate the use of the EASA logo from all materials, products, and services, regardless of whether such materials, products, and services are preprinted or pre-existing at that time.

Legal action may be taken against anyone who uses the EASA logo in violation of the above policy.
