10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Lunch & Fashion Show at the Original Neiman Marcus – No Dallas visit would be complete without a trip to the legendary Neiman Marcus department store. Although its suburban locations are lovely, only the original downtown store gives you the full effect of Neiman Marcus. Human elevator operators “announce the floors” and beautifully presented merchandise tempts even the most resistant shopper. The world-famous Zodiac Room is the perfect location to enjoy a glass of wine and an elegant lunch. As a bonus, models will perform a fashion show especially for you, featuring the latest creations from the world’s best designers. (Travel takes about 30 minutes each way.)

12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Taste of the Grape & Vetro Glass Studio – You’ll begin this afternoon’s tour by visiting and tasting the products of two renowned Grapevine wineries. La Buena Vida Vineyards opened its tasting room in an old church in Grapevine’s Historic District more than two decades ago. Besides sampling its award-winning champagnes, ports and wines, you’ll enjoy seeing its demonstration vineyard, Spanish fountains, and English flower and herb gardens. Next, you’ll visit the tasting room at Cross Timbers Winery. This historic property was built in 1874 by Grapevine’s beloved pioneer physician, Dr. Dorris, and later became the home of the Brock Family. Lovingly restored for its new use by local resident and winemaker Don Bigbie, Cross Timbers Winery at Brock Farm offers glimpses of the early days on the Grape Vine Prairie. From the wineries, you’ll follow Main Street to the historic Grapevine Depot. Then at Vetro Contemporary Glassblowing Studio you’ll learn the secrets of a fascinating craft as you watch local artists create a piece of blown glass. If you like, you may buy art from the artists’ “co-op” or even order custom pieces. You’ll also have time to shop on Main Street. (Travel takes about 10 minutes each way.)
