Blizzard Beach (Youth/Teen tour)

Today’s adventure takes you to Disney’s Blizzard Beach, a water park with a ski theme that’s based on a story about a freak snow storm that blanketed Florida and then quickly began to melt. There you’ll discover the thrilling Summit Plummet–one of the country’s tallest, fastest and most intense free-falling waterslides. Just imagine dropping 12 stories at speeds of 50 to 60 mph!
Other exciting attractions include Slush Gusher, a 90-foot tall waterslide that hurtles you headlong down Mount Gushmore, outrageous raft rides like Runoff Rapids, terrifying toboggan slides, and a one-acre wave pool. Need to “chill”? Take a leisurely raft ride on slow-flowing Cross Country Creek. If you’re a little younger, you’re sure to enjoy Ski Patrol Training Camp or Tike's Peak, a shallow water play area with a snow-castle fountain, pop-up water jets and kid-sized slides. Blizzard Beach is a fantastic experience for all age groups that’ll keep you screaming for more as you round each bend.
(Travel takes about 15 minutes each way; includes lunch.)
