| There is no audio or video. |
The free Apple Quicktime Player is required to play the audio and video included on the CD-ROM. Apple QuickTime can be downloaded for free from: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download Windows 2000 users Windows 2000 is no longer supported by the latest version of Apple QuickTime. Users with Windows 2000 should download Apple QuickTime 7.1.6 which can be found here: http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/quicktime716forwindows.html |
| Error message: The setup program has completed with the following error(s): An error occured copying the file How_To_Wind_Three-Phase_Stators.exe. JAR entry installData/How_To_Wind_Three-Phase_Stators.exe not found ... |
Early versions of the How To Wind Three-Phase Stators software had compatibility problems with versions of the Windows operating system using non-standard English characters. This problem has been corrected. Contact Craig Whitworth for assistance if you are encountering this error. |
| Error message: "The QuickTime Player Java components could not be located or copied to the target location. Please view the instructions to learn how to set up QuickTime." | During some installations, the How To Wind Three-Phase Stators software may fail to copy the file "QTJava.zip." Follow this procedure to correct this problem: Using Windows Explorer, look at the contents of these two folders. Each folder should contain a file called "QTJava.zip".
