"Shaker screen duty" motor repair tips: Unusual application calls for special considerations and handling

One of the unique motor applications we're often called upon to service is the "shaker screen duty" or vibrator motor. These are mechanically robust electric motors, fitted with large eccentric weights, designed to deliberately vibrate - a lot. The unusual application calls for some special considerations when repairing these motors. This article is intended to consolidate those tips in one place.
