The Southwestern Chapter invites you to meet with your fellow EASA member shops and vendors March 25 - 27, 2010 in Oklahoma City.

A city of many contrasts, OKC has a lot to offer. And your convention committee has worked hard to give you a great meeting, fun social activities and an enlightening technical program.

Our meeting will be held at the Skirvin Hilton—a beauti-fully restored upscale property which we’re sure you will love. For over 95 years, the historic Skirvin Hotel has been synonymous with elegance and innovation hosting oil barons, political leaders and Presidents. The Skirvin underwent a multi-million dollar renovation project to restore the original grandeur that made it an OKC landmark. It features tastefully decorated and reconfigured guest rooms and an elegantly restored lobby and signature restaurant.

Each beautiful room is equipped with wired and wireless Internet connectivity, 42-inch flat screen Plasma TV, and a spacious work desk. Each room contains a coffee pot, hair dryer and iron.

Services include a full health club, destination bar, full service restaurant, excellent food and 24-hour room service.

As tradition demands, before our Convention starts on Thursday we’ll have a choice of an optional golf tournament or a tour of the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial for those who don’t golf.

Our meeting will officially start on Thursday evening with our Vendor Table Top reception. We invite any of our Affiliate Members to help sponsor our meeting and have a table at the reception to show their “stuff”. We will have some great shop tours on Friday and a big surprise on Friday night—a possible opportunity to attend an NBA game between the OKC Thunder and LA Lakers.

On Saturday, we are sponsoring a full day EASA Training session on Pump Curves/Application and Troubleshooting, featuring Gene Vogel, pump specialist from EASA International in St. Louis. We encourage local shops to send their shop personnel for this valuable training session at an unmatched price.

On Saturday evening, we will have our farewell casual dinner at the hotel. This will be followed by our officer installation, a surprise Southwestern Chapter Hall of Fame induction and a hilarious game night. If you’re not sure what that is—just ask anyone who was at the Tulsa, OK Convention a few years back!
