Technical Support Specialist Jim Bryan to retire
Jim Bryan, an EASA Technical Support Specialist since June 2010, will retire effective February 28.
Before joining EASA, Jim worked for more than 20 years at Emerson Motor Company (now Nidec Corporation) in St. Louis. Even before starting as an EASA employee, he was no stranger to many EASAns. He had served as a volunteer member of EASA’s Technical Services Committee since 2004.
Even in his retirement, Jim will continue to work with EASA and its members. He plans to continue on a contract basis and will teach webinars and public and private seminars that he committed to in 2018. He also plans to continue to serve as a volunteer on EASA’s technical committees.
“The time I have spent with EASA, both as a Technical Services Committee member and as an employee, have been rewarding,” said Jim. “The family atmosphere permeates the organization from members, volunteer leaders and staff because of the really good people involved throughout. Thanks to all.”
Best wishes in retirement
EASA President & CEO Linda Raynes, CAE, said that Jim will be missed. “It has been great to have Jim on board and we hate to lose his consistent service and vast technical knowledge,” she said. “But we are happy that he will continue to be involved with us in the future and wish him and his wife, Debbie, a wonderful retirement.”
